Christmas 2011

Bob and I spent 6 days in Rochester and we were crazy busy. I actually didn’t take many photos since it felt like we were constantly on the go so this post will be random to fit the few pictures I have.

It has become somewhat of a tradition to go to Flag’s with my high school friends. Christy is 7 months pregnant and sporting an adorable little belly! I sat next to her during dinner and pretty much kept one hand on her bump the whole time trying to feel Baby D move.

On Christmas Eve 4 years ago Amanda and I forgot to leave a treat for Santa and he left a note reprimanding us:

This year on Christmas Eve, Santa dropped a hint that he’d appreciate chocolate milk and a mini Milky Way candy bar to be left by the fireplace. His wish is my command! Doesn’t every 20-something still leave treats for Santa?

Santa read my post about Fabulous Fashion and had his elves make a cat sweater for me since I only wore cat clothes as a child.

I was partaking in ugly sweater parties decades ago. I wasn’t wearing it to be ironic, either. I still can’t believe I got someone to marry me.

I also had a Rudolph dress made of sweatsuit material. Hey mom, nice denim jumpsuit!

Amanda and Luke hosted lunch on Christmas day and this year was a little less wacky tacky. They splurged and purchased ice this year instead of packing coolers full of snow like last year. Amanda assured me they would have used snow again but it was a warm, green Christmas.

The hosts had some new decorations this year. Do the pinwheels look familiar?

I love my silly family.
