Matt’s Wedding

Bob has known Matt since they were in grade school and they even lived together in college. When they graduated Matt took a job teaching in Honolulu so he has lived there for several years now. He fell in love with a native Hawaiian girl, Maleeyah, and they got married last week!

The wedding location was beautiful, especially at sunset.

The attire was very beachy and typical for Hawaiian weddings. Here are the bride and groom.

Bob and Jesse were groomsmen. Bob was told he’d be in a white linen outfit, then he asked me what the heck linen was. Boys. The outfits were loose-fitting to help keep them cool, but they looked a little bit like the Backstreet Boys.

Hey Bob Travolta, which way is the beach?

This is Bob, Anna, Rod and Jesse. Rod and Anna got engaged on our trip. Congrats you two!

The newlyweds danced to “When you say nothin’ at all” and it was performed live by their friends with just an acoustic guitar and singer. It was very sweet.

The dancing was in full swing after that, with Bob tearing up the dance floor. Would you expect anything less from him? Of course he got super duper hot and he gradually kept losing buttons on his shirt. Nice sunburn.

After the wedding, 7 of us crammed into a Lincoln towncar with the sweaty, smelly boys. I drew the short straw and had to sit next to Bob who decided to sing “California Gurls” loudly on the way home.
