Bob and I headed to Hawaii for a friend’s wedding and rented a house with a bunch of friends. The house was in Kailua and had access to a private beach which was just steps away.

The beach near our house was amazing. Not only was the water blue and warm, but the beach wasn’t crowded because it is private.
The boys played a little bit of water football.
Our rental house provided beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. I made use of a boogie board on the first day at the beach. The waves weren’t very big, but it was still fun. It was hard to time the waves at first, but after a few attempts I got the hang of it.
Bob got really good at this whole relaxing thing.
