Paco was up to no good once again. He opened the doors himself and climbed in. Bob and I will never be able to have a real fire in our fireplace!

When my parents were in town for a visit, I took mom to King Soopers. Here is what we got for $1.52!

I also had another round of the same items. That is what happens when you have 11 copies of each coupon. Mom had fun clipping all of them.

I love my current dishes, but after moving so much during the past 3 years, I have been gradually losing plates and bowls to chips and cracks.

I had been searching for new dishes for months and found some I loved. Here are my new dishes- all 80 pounds of them!

My folks flew out here for a long weekend of visiting. My dad had two requests: go to a Mammoth LAX game and go to Bass Pro Shop. We did both of those things on Friday.

Mom and Dad wore their Knighthawks jerseys even though the K-Hawks weren’t even playing. Weirdos.

The next day we went for a walk to Standley Lake near our house. It was chilly and rainy, but the dogs enjoyed the walk.

We also went to Boulder’s Farmer’s Market and wandered around Pearl Street before getting some yummy Glacier ice cream. Glacier is a must when they visit now. The hand-made ice cream is super creamy.

We ended the day at the dog park. Mom really enjoyed walking around and playing in the creek. She’s such a good girl and got along well with all other dogs and children at the park.

On Sunday we toured Anheuser Busch Brewery. They operate 24 hrs/day 365 days/ year. If they stopped for just one day, Bud Lights would be out of stock in all liquor and grocery stores within 18 hours. Crazy huh?

Here are the Budweiser celebrities that you see in the commericials. This big guy is retired but has been in Superbowl ads. He is now used to train the young’uns.

I stopped by King Soopers this morning at 6am before I went to work just to take advantage of the last day of this sale. The marinade and spices were on sale for $1 each. I had coupons, making the grand total $0.12 for all of it!
